So much love

June 15, 2010 by prachie gohil in Poems

So much love

So much love

Sometimes I want eat you whole.

So much love

So much love

You fill a chilly warmth in my soul.

Watching your eyes bow down to slumber

"Will you dream about me? " is what I wonder

I wonder

Will we be together in Utopia?

Away from the shameless blasphemy

Breathing the love exhumed by alchemy

For you and me

No other Jack and Jill.

Just you and me

going up the hill.

Will the sun rise or

Will the shimmering night last forever?

The stars gossip and

The moon laughs.

They've seen the numerous failed attempts.

They've seen the embers of anger ferment.

But they don't know it's the beginning of the end,

Of the love story that was never meant to blend.

So much love

So much love

That sometimes I want to eat you whole.

So much love

So much love

you fill a chilly warmth in my soul.

Watching you snuggle under your blanket

I know this is the last time

we'll be together without a racket.

Wish we could be forever like those penguins

Who witnessed our first kiss

With an awe of delighted urchins.

When you wake up to the light

I'll be long gone, far away from your sight.

Remember the times our fingers were intertwined?

Your blinded sense of self had this euphoria declined!

So much love

So much love

That sometimes i want to eat you whole.

So much love

So much love

You fill a chilly warmth in my soul.
